Come on Harold, don't use a left wing site to debunk a right wing site. All that does is validate that confirmation bias is a real cognitive issue that should be defined in the DSM especially when it's used as a tool for disagreement. What ever happened to "agree to disagree" and a thoughtful, even if, opinionated response.

I shared this on another post this week about CNN. During Desert Shield/Storm, many of you know, there was no other news media, no internet, talk radio, etc. All we had in the sand box was CNN. They lied over and over about the protests of the war and us. Many guys I saw around King Fahd Airfield and our FOB were discouraged on what was being reported. My dad was pissed and started collecting local news articles from around the country and sent them to me. I would post them in the day room every time I would get them. Several troops thanked me for posting them. CNN had a negative effect on many and I contend all the fake news does and it's 1000x worse today.
