One, the title is misleading due in part that it was Trump's transition team that made that statement and not Trump himself. Second, the response is something that is now commonplace with Trump and his administration, as they appear to only support people, organizations and statements that give them "atta boys" and pats on the back as they firebomb their critics

Bush Jr was bad enough lying about what Intelligence was saying. Not surprised by Trump completely brushing off Intelligence that doesn't agree with him.
