One has nothing to do with the other. I would think that it would be both an honor and a pain in the ass to have POTUS commissioning a vessel from a crew standpoint. From security headaches to everything needing to be perfect for his visit to the ship, whether he goes to a space or not, the crew is going to be working overtime (so to speak) to make sure it is perfect.
