So, in your estimation, Trump should have a network where no one can challenge him, he can post and say whatever he wants to on said station AND he and he alone controls the content?
You do know what your supporting, right? State run media. The same state run media that's in Russia, China, that was in Cuba and other nations that control what their citizens see and hear. Not much in the way of the freedom we say we all are entitled to, wouldn't you say?

Trump already has more media coverage than VOA gets, and he can do that for free with a simple tweet. The author of this piece fails to realize that the collusion between obama and the major networks is a lot more powerful that anything VOA offers. Ask yourself this, does your cable company even offer VOA as a channel? Apparently they could have offered since 2013, but nobody has picked it up because the target audience is OCONUS.

Ah but with this one he can broadcast whatever he wants on it. Yes, Trump does have more media coverage than anyone BUT with Radio Free Europe, he can control the content and that is what's concerning everyone.

In theory the VOA is supposed to be pro American, and that could be used a por POTUS. My lack of concern is that like Al Gore Selling his station to Al Jezzera, a VOA station would be far less viewership than the top 120 channels on my TV. Unless the programming was popular. If a pro Trump message is that popular, then he wont need his on TV station to broadcast it. He already has a massive following. He can get more traction with a Facebook page than almost anyone on earth already.

True but unlike Gore and Al-Jazzera, Gore wasn't responsible for the content Al Jazzera distributed once he sold that station and although he can get more traction on Facebook, his still can control the content of Radio Free Europe
