Well, the headline is a little misleading, surprise, surprise...CNN trying to make a Trump appointment look bad. First there is the matter of compensation. From the story:
"Chao's job on the board has been lucrative. She made at least $1.2 million in total compensation, including stock awards, between 2011 and 2015, according to a CNNMoney review of filings. Her compensation for this year has not yet been released."
She made 1.2 million in total comp from 2011 - 2015, so roughly $240,000 a year. Not exactly knocking it out of the park compensation. Not bad but the headline would lead some to think she made 1.2 million a year. Not the case. She makes a lot less that some that are throwing and catching balls for a living.
Then the attempt to tie to her the Wells Fargo issue with fake accounts with no actual evidence, only an innuendo. She worked there when it happened, she must be responsible.
Using that logic, everyone that works at CNN must be responsible for the corruption of their network collaborating with the Clinton campaign this election cycle. See how that works?
Her biggest issue for me is she is married to a snake named Mitch McConnell. He is part of the GOP establishment and cannot be trusted as far as he can be thrown.

SGT (Join to see) - You say you don't support guilt by association then in the next sentence you do it again "she is linked to the company".
I guess if you believe that throwing anything out there and seeing if it sticks is a good approach then have at it. I prefer to have an actual fact or two to at least look at. The story is full of innuendo, nothing more.

Cpl Jeff N. - Being linked to the company by being on its board is a fact... that does not negate my opinion on not guilty by association. lol.
If this came out it means someone in the journo world is investigating as I am sure many administration nominees are having done to them also

SGT (Join to see) - Being "linked" (employed) by the company is a fact, it does not "link" her to the Wells Fargo Account scandal as the story attempts to do.
This came out because she worked for Wells Fargo and there was a scandal there, the link is made through innuendo. She worked there, therefore she must be culpable at some level.
