Someone is Counting on that Spooks don't talk (Generally because We Don't want to Give Up Sources and Methods) but I can Tell You With Confidence that the CIA and NSA told the President that they are 90% Sure that the Crown Prince Ordered the Assassination of Khashaoggi but the President has made a Political Decision to Provide Cover for the Prince.

Political reality. What are we willing to give up to discipline them for for murdering one of their own citizens? Global economy due to decreasing or flooding the oil market? Cutting off intel on terrorist activities? Loss of American jobs? Did it bother you haters when Obama ordered the killing of American citizens?
