Interesting stuff and glad to see we haven't just been sitting still. Lots of articles about how far ahead of us both China and Russia are. I don't think Trump will just sit on that.

Not sure if Russians and Chinese have caught up. Worry more about the Chinese they just put probe on moon, building better fighter planes, building ships and subs.

We were delayed nightly starting about 20 years ago wen funding for missile development was cut.

System was deployed by Navy 7-8 years ago. The expert we trr alked to at SALRADIO said they could knock down ICBMs by reaching same speed and deflecting. Problem is many big defense projects in line, F35s, carriers, subs, tankers, rebuilding Nukes and a bgt deficit growing by the month.

Right Ken Kraetzer, but development of those systems began almost a decade before. Our issue is now. Development was severely contracted or stopped altogether when funding was cut during the first few years of the Obama administration.

But iBMD did go operational in that period with deployment on Arleigh Burke destroyers. Can this type of missile be sub launched? NYTimes article said might be deployed off F35s, Lockheed Martin told us munitions would have to fit in existing bays to maintain stealth configuration of plane.
