I guess his mathematics skills are too week to even realize that the Nuclear option will not help if they can not even reach a simple majority, Our fearless (feckless) leader would fail 3rd grade arithmetic.

MSgt Danny Hope - I read the news and see that vote as the BEST he will be able to do. He is not going to move the Senators with anything that will pass the house and is always in the process of making new enemies. If he moves towards Collins and company he will lose votes from the nutcases like Cruz, Paul and Lee.
He can try again after the mid-terms when the numbers MIGHT change in his favor but pushing for it now is just political masturbation with no hope of a happy ending.
