There was a good response that we all need to be aware of. Stereotyping all Muslims is equally ignorant of the true enemy. The Jihadists, the extremists, the haters, and we are not butchers. We can offer them a quick path to the underworld, as I doubt our God want much to do with them.

There are so many shades of Islam as there are of christianity. I have received a "love thy neighbor" treatment myself in a desperate situation by a Sunni whom I have the honor of calling a friend. I have friends from the Shia denomination and from the Ibbadites. I am aware of many more shades, some of their believers are seen as aposteates by some Islamists (e.g. the Ahmadi variation) without knowing too much of them. The above is merely another narrative, nothing more, nothing less, of someone who is unwilling to differentiate between the varieties of Islam the 1.8 billion muslims worldwide fall into - most of them in a very peaceful and loveable way. This is a narrative which is just a variation of the "because terrorism" type. Calling 1.8 billion muslims terrorists is as true or as false as Turkey calling a third of their parliament terrorists.
