I caught onto the trick that some people have of voting you down and then blocking you so you can't reply only to have them come in through another post and mention your name. Too many games on this site. People more concerned with getting points. But that's the way it is and I accept what is to be what it is. I would rather keep him as a connection and disagree than as an enemy and disagree. I firmly believe that adults can agree to disagree without being disagreeable. At least he's up front about how he feels. Just as you have your comments about him he has his comments about me. We are diametrically opposed to one another. He's a liberal and I'm a conservative. It's just that the Liberals take it to such a far extreme. Conservatives don't seem to have a problem accepting things without a crying towel and crayons. Conservatives don't go out and manufacture a Russian collusion that evidence has shown clearly was politically motivated and then an impeachment to go along with it. Even if one turncoat lieutenant-colonel ended up losing his job, too bad. He was trying to set Ukrainian policy and was well outside of his lane. I get it. The president may have been impeached but he didn't lose the White House. Instead we have the Liberals run by Nancy Pelosi that won't fund a very narrow stimulus bill that some of us are desperate for just because she doesn't want the president to get a win before the election. That's a liberal for you. Use we, the people, as Pawns in this political game. He'll have his opinion - Sergeant Gomez will. But that's okay. I've got mine and you have yours as well. I encourage you to speak out more. It seems that we read more of liberals than we do of conservatives. Just my observation.

PO2 Frederick Dunn I would agree with you that when a conversation turns into temper tantrums and name-calling it's no longer debates. It's a childish exchange of words if both sides are doing it and if one side is doing it that means they've lost the argument. He frequently loses the argument. He and I have crossed communicated many times and he seldom support his comments with fact. My replies tend to be longer than most because I do my best to put fact into them. It's hard to argue with facts that can be fact-checked on numerous websites.

SSG Robert Ricci - I don't really have a dog in this fight because I try to stay out of threads like this. But you gave a perfect explanation of lefties vs conservatives. Conservatives bring facts, figures and other substantive evidence. Leftis are empty as a pocket and only bring false accusations and name calling. That's why I stay off these threads. I get no joy taking on unarmed opponents.
