Just the picture says it all. Something I have found in the civilian world is most managers I have worked with, run on the latter part of this quote. I found success by something as simple as planning my day. This I learned as a necessity in the Navy. Even today, I write my plan in my daytimer and yes I still use a daytimer. I also use all the technology, but the act of sitting and writing my daily plan works for me. Thank you COL Mikel J. Burroughs for the inspiration!!

If it's not broken, don't fix it right? I too am one that likes to hand write notes and have checklists because I find it's a good way to not only help myself stay organized, but also there's a sense of satisfaction crossing off your tasks as you complete them.

Capt, I used your advice and also had a plan B planed and stuck to it. My A plan was to cut my lawn (2 acres). Before I even got outside I could see and hear thunder and lightning, so lawn was out! I switched to plan be and worked on the interior of my horse hauling truck. Went well! Thanks
