Fake news has a "special" meaning for Trump fans. It is news that carries the unforgivable stench of truth. The call it fake news with it being able to say what was inaccurate.
In fact accuracy is what they mostly object to since it interferes with their delsions.

Either of these guys would source a street pamphlet if it supported their demagoguery.

Its amazing how people just give these people a pass. Flynn was dirty. If he wasnt he would still have his job.

Media has put crosshairs on Flynn and for low-info viewers their words matter. I heard one story yesterday that used the words "foreign agent" in their narrative about Flynn. It was in reference to correspondence from Rep. Cummings about Flynn's work for Turkey. Rather than just covering the storyline they conveniently inserted "foreign agent" into the mix. For people that form their opinions from a quick dump from their channel of choice these are strong words. A retired military Officer working as a paid consultant for a foreign country is a lot different than portraying him as a foreign agent. It's another example of media using snippets to build a grand conspiracy and I think they are not acting responsibly when they do this. I think the media is doing all they can to force the Congress and the Administration into a Watergate style scenario, whether it is warranted or not. I think there are a lot of unanswered questions, but am not for manipulating the process through shady journalism. 65% of voters polled by ORC want a Commission to look into this but with time this may decrease, so it appears the media is trying to force the issue whether it is appropriate or not. We need answers and hopefully will get them eventually. It may not be what the anti-Trump faction wants but regardless of the outcome IMO the media needs to stick to reporting and let Congress do their job. If they refuse to do their job then report it and let the voters decide at the next elections. Thanks for sharing.

CWO3 (Join to see) - He register himself as a foreign agent. That is the legal term for people who work as a agents of a foreign government, I seen no trouble with using the correct legal term, You can only pander to fools so much.

Got it, and based on me not being aware of this term in that sense, I guess that places me in the "low-info" voters category. I've been more concerned about US Marine artillery deploying to Syria, US Army deploying 2500 to Kuwait, N Korea launching missiles, and the impact of proposed healthcare changes. I was unaware of the filing requirement under FARA because I don't share the media's bloodlust for him. I do hope he will be called under oath at some point and if he broke laws he'll be held accountable, but am not tracking his daily legal status. Based on the filing it seems the "foreign agent" tag fits, and they were using the proper terminology, so thanks for squaring me away on that. If the info from ABC is accurate it is not supportive of either Sean Spicer or VP Pence re: Flynn. Spicer said they had no reason to question Flynn during the vetting process due to his "impeccable credentials", yet Flynn was axed from DIA and had also been investigated by US Army for providing classified materials to Pakistan in late 2009 or early 2010 about secret U.S. intelligence capabilities being used to monitor the Haqqani network while in Afghanistan. Pence said he was unaware of Flynn's foreign agent work until this week, but called the disclosure "an affirmation of the president's decision to ask Gen. Flynn to resign." In November, Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, sent Pence a letter warning about conflicts created by Flynn's lobbying work. "If the vice president had heeded my warnings, it's clear now he could have prevented the problems that occurred with Lt. Gen. Flynn," Cummings said Friday. So, the warning signs were there.

Trump lawyers knew Flynn might register as foreign agent
An attorney for former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn told President Donald Trump's transition team before the inauguration that Flynn might register with the government as a foreign agent, White House officials acknowledged. According to a person with knowledge of the discussions,...

It would have taken you less time to look up the term you did not know but we're complaining about others using than it would take to make the complaint.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - That's true, but when I find that I don't understand something I research it so I have at least a basic understanding of it. In this case, the term "foreign agent" and the additional back-story pertaining to it. I'm also human and therefore far from perfect, so I have no problem admitting to others and myself when I am wrong. The next step in that process for me is to make corrections to minimize it in the future. Call it self-improvement for lack of a better term.
