The folks at twitter are just trying to create a "Safe Space"on the internet, where everyone is free to say whatever they want, asl long as it is approved by the sensors and doesn't interfere with twitter's business interests.

The examples from drudge didnt appear to be censored it had a warning and then a button to push plus a button to always show sensitive material.
