Drugs in the Navy are a fact of life; we mirror society. The reason we have random drug tests and have a Zero Drug Tolerance Policy is that we may mirror, but we answer to a higher standard when it comes to responsibility.

This is bad. Are things that boring now in Kings Bay that our sailors have to resort to DRUGS! Has an opiod crisis come to Kings Bay as well? There are many questions that need to be answered.

Does not give you a warm and fuzzy feeling of security on one of our most powerful ships! What I don't understand is I doubt that this was a fist time event for these two sailors, and drug testing should have been on going. I retired in 1990 and up to my retirement I saw random urine tests on a regular basis. They drew numbers and if they matched your last two digits of your SSN you went a donated a sample. I remember giving a sample once and there was a mirror in the urinal so the witness could tell if it war real or from a clean sample. On the mirror it said "RELAX Things in this mirror are smaller than they appear!"
