U.S. closes Rhein-Main Air Base after 60 years

I know military bases are not known for Chow Halls. However this place had a really good Chow Hall.

Flew in there a couple times when I was stationed in Germany.

I thought Rhein Main closed years ago,or was it just the SPACE A terminal that was closed?

SSgt Ray Stone Yes it closed long ago. I was just reminiscing about how good the chow hall food was. I was there in the early eighties.

Use to go in and out of RheinMain all the time. Great place.
