The American-developed F-15SA Strike Eagle is Saudi Arabia's newest multirole fighter.

They may have more advanced versions of the F-15 than we do (assuming that's true), but we have the F-22. Why would we get the Saudi/Singapore versions of the F-15 when we have the F-22? To put it another way, what does the upgraded F-15 do that the F-22 can't?

Not sure but it is a growing trend since the F-22 is out of production.

LTC (Join to see) - I don't know that the Saudi version is better/more capable than our version. We traditionally don't sell hardware that would out do what we have. Interesting.

It is a custom version. Some technology is newer. May be not radios but newer technology if our planes are 10 years older.
