When in peace, prepare for war. There is no peace dividend and the greatest threat to the world is not global warming but stuff like this getting out of control and it's not president Trump's fault it's partially President Obama's partially President Bush jr. Partially call Bremer's and partially the spy agencies lying to General Colin Powell. It was just President Obama being so smart and so South Side Chicago is pulling troops out of Iraq on a campaign promise and look what we have 6 years later

You left out Congress. Remember Congress wouldn't approve any escalation of military operations not even airstrikes when Obama asked for it.
And troop withdrawal from Iraq was dictated and signed by Bush; Obama maintained the timeline that was set by Bush and Iraq refused to budge on their request to prosecute American military for any crimes.
And what the hell does being Southside Chicago has anything to do with this?

SN Greg Wright - If the genocide by Saddam bothers you so much, then maybe we shouldn't have waited till 2003 to do something about it. We could have done something in the 90s or back in the 80s; oh wait, it wasn't in our best interests then.

Sounds like a Bill Clinton response. I feel like I'm back in the late 1990's, just a lot older.

If there was a way I could like this even more, I would do it. Except it would include the 1990's. I personally loved Reagan as my president. He was the reason I am republican. But that dude would throw us in every damn crises the world had. Than bush.

Yep. Low approval numbers. An investigation. Chaos in a GOP controlled government. Warning to the Russian government prior to strike. Preliminary results are reports of possible civilian casualties and no real strategic effectiveness of the BDA. Yeah, this doesn't pass the smell test but we'll have to wait it out to see.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - Innocent civilians to include children were killed. Who gives a damn if some Syrian and/or Russian military personnel at the base that our US intelligence identified as source of attack are killed? That's acceptable response for a war crime. If it was the rebels or ISIS that was responsible and we targeted their base of operations, you get same response from me.

MAJ James Woods - Restricting the damage to property doesn't have as much diplomatic impact not to mention that killing Russians in violation of a standing agreement is probably not a wise thing to do.

Complicit behavior = collateral damage at a military target

My initial reaction was just as the network broke in to report the attack. I do not have an issue with the attack taking place or the minimal collateral damage that was inflicted.
