Thanks for sharing the news SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that "U.S. pilots provide first account of tense Syrian jet encounter - “I followed him around for all three of his loops,” one of the American pilots, a 38-year-old Air Force major, told USA TODAY Wednesday in the first detailed account of the incident. “He didn’t appear to have any idea I was there.”
That isn't surprising that Syrian pilots may be clueless.

I hate to say it but this sounds like propaganda to me. Of course a state of the art F-22 can fly circles around a Russian made SU-24. The SU-24 was built 50 years ago as an answer to the then state of the art F-111 Aardvark. I would question if the Russians in the region aren't using these "encounters" to test out their new "anti-stealth" radar. If so, the Syrian pilots would not have been told anything about it. However, it could become a real problem for us in the future.
