OOPSEC?

I remember reading a story years ago about a landing on some Somolia beach by Navy SEALs in 1992, to secure it in the night, and were met, not by hostile fire, but by the press, with cameras and flash photography, and making things rather chaotic for those SEALs.

All of this new technology out there is not only an issue with privacy and such, it’s reveals a lot of intelligence about everything. I use a Fitbit, but I decided, at least for myself, the risk is nominal. The risk for an organization is somewhat different.
