After being in the military and remembering how difficult it was for me to even pass the ASVAB military life was a bit challenging. Even though I was proud of my service in the MOS I had chosen, I have to admit that the Abrams is an awesome piece, it just wasn't the right fit for me. After all, fitting a 6'3" guy in an Abrams turret wasn't easy. I had only a few choices due to the ASVAB scoring. Now that this is available, more options would be available for our next generations of service members. So if you know of any budding young people who are interested in serving our military, send them this link.

Then I would suggest you to study as well and retake the ASVAB. You have better knowledge and experience therefore with a better score you might reclass to a more fitting MOS.
As a commander I encouraged my troops to retake the ASVAB, even if they were happy with their MOS. You never know what the future looks like!

PFC James (LURCH) Janota, better opportunities I would say. There are so many opportunities out there, that with a better GT Score would be available.
