Delegitimizing learning institutions is no less nefarious. I don't agree with what the leftists say, but agree with their right to say it. I don't agree with burning our Flag either, but per SCOTUS it is a right. It's interesting to charge the left with delegitimizing our Founders to overthrow government. Who is currently in power and how did they get there? By rejecting the current parties and the use of new terms like fake news. Don't fool yourself into believing that only one side is using these tactics for their longer term prospects. They both are. Free speech, the Courts, and our vote are the last measures we have to resist anyone of any affiliation that aims to control our government for their gain. There are ongoing efforts to restrict all of these. I haven't heard anyone from the left making inquiries about pulling the FCC licenses of media outlet(s). Nobody from the left is for removing the right to sue a corporate bad actor. There's a lot of this going on and it's not exclusive to one party.

Corporate American Media is probably the worst in the world. The level of discourse is infantile. Blaming Sputnik and RT can only go so far.
I posted a very good article the other day from the Saker who is a writer / philosopher, an ethnic Russian living in the US. I highly recommend that our intelligence people read his commentary, as I am sure some do, to understand the true situation there, and how media Hysteria may lead us to war.

One could argue that the left is attempting to de-legitimize our founding fathers, except we're not.
