I graduated Columbia after service. I know the director of the transition center personally. If he’s promoting this it is worth doing.
Columbia has a unique methodology in the transition of veterans to education. The undergraduate program is fully integrated with the traditional students. It is one of the only Universities that doesn’t differentiate between traditional and non-traditional students.
The has facilitated an encyclopedia of best practices, lessons learned, and resources for non-traditional students to be successful in academia.
If this was around when I was applying, I would take it.
