Thank you, my friend Maj Robert Thornton for posting the link to the original documentary "Unshaken Courage a September 11th Tribute" focused "in remembrance of those we lost on Sept. 11th, 2001 and those still affected" primarily focused on the attack on New York City and the losses experienced by firefighters and rescue personnel there. Not to omit those sufferings from the effects of that terrible day and their family members.
Rest in peace each one who was killed that day and those who died as result in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC [The Pentagon].
I was supposed to be in the Pentagon that day and I was home reading the Bible and praying and lost track of time. I had coordinated a meeting at my convenience [for time] in OSD.
I received a phone call late that morning, telling me the Pentagon had been attacked and that the Pentagon was closed and I would not be able to get in.
I discussed the situation with my darling wife and then volunteered to be mobilized. I was given TTAD orders dated October 1, 2001 with a reporting date of October 25, 2001 to ODCSLOG, Pentagon [actual location was elsewhere since the bottom floors had significant water].
