I feel bad for the new recruits and reclasses. The four events seem MOS irrelevant. Recruits should focus on learning their MOS & not how to "deadlift with proper technique" or power throw medicine balls. Actually, I don't see how the four events have much to do with anything.

Does anybody know where Army Reservists (non-recruits, wkend drilling) may conduct the Occupational Physical Assessment Test for the purpose of MOS transfer? If not MEPS, then where/by whom?

this is almost typical... some General Officer wants to Stick a Feather in his Hat...
when I went in the army in 1973 there was a 6 event PT test ...
Push Ups
Sit ups
Run Dodge and Jump
Horizontal ladder
Inverted Crawl...
3 Mile Run...
when I retired, it was Just 3...
Push Ups
Sit ups
2 mile run for the army
But in SF ... there were Pull Ups/Chin Ups, and 12 mile Ruck march, and 100 meter swim...

Who comes up with this stuff? PRT is a joke. Soldiers are more pissed that they have to wake up rather than looking forward to a workout. 8 more years...I can do this.
