Wasn't it Freon that caused the problem a couple years ago, depleting the ozone layer. now it's carbon dioxide, does anyone have a clue or is just a ruse to separate the sheeple from their money.

The biggest greenhouse gas is water vapor. Carbon Dioxide ain't got nothin' on clouds.

Yup... but atmospheric water in any form is not considered in the Global Warming models... oddly enough, neither is the sun

What a bunch of idiots. We already have CO2 scrubbers. They're called plants! (As in vegetation, not "commercial carbon dioxide capture plant".)

Seriously, if a bunch of lunatics with post-grad degrees started telling us there was too much oxygen in the atmosphere, and it will have dramatic impacts on the environment if we don't reduce O2 levels, would we listen? Increased CO2 levels is just going to make for more plant life. Artificially suppressing CO2 levels is going to have adverse unintended consequences.

You can't make millions of dollars off of the governments of the world by planting something as simple as a tree. But you would think if they wanted to use of CO2 that would be an easy fix, or for that part stop deforestation of the rain forest, they suck up allot of CO2 yet were are cutting them down at such a fast rate in 50 years there will be very little of the rain forest left.

Sgt Wayne Wood, perhaps more than 50 years ago but not than when first settled.

Since we grow trees as a renewable cash crop now, I think i can stand... the charts/stats in the report only go back to 1952

Back in the '50s or '60s the scientists were worried about global cooling - and they suggested putting carbon black on the glaciers to absorb the sun's energy instead of reflecting it.

Some people have been educated beyond their intelligence.
