I enjoy TYT. Don't always agree with every discussion but at least they discuss both sides. Our Congress and our Pentagon are never going to take budget seriously. A close look of the budget shows money for O&M, military pay, some benefits, and overseas operations but look at the financial commitments to the defense industry. It's the usual type of spending we get from GOP; spend irresponsibly for our military and cut irresponsibly in other critical areas.

Of course the military budget should be more the 25% of the entire US budget! 1/4 of threats we face as a nation are absolutely from other nations' militaries! Bottom line is that we're #1 in military force, by a wide margin, so why would we not spend more and more on that thing rather than on things we're NOT #1 in? Like individual freedom, infrastructure, education, health care... and all of those other things that people actually need on a day to day basis? Of course our kids would rather pay for new aircraft carriers instead of college education - DUH. Why wouldn't they rather have some more nuclear stealth bombers that were necessary in the early 1980s instead of some kind of health support?

More money in the defense budget is more money that all of these millennial snowflakes will have to earn themselves rather than expect help from the government for!
