US-led airstrikes sink 100 ISIS boats plotting naval attacks

That is great news PO1 William "Chip" Nagel that "US-led airstrikes have destroyed more than 100 ISIS boats in a bombing campaign in Iraq." Hopefully each boat was filled to capacity with ISIS thugs. I expect the water of the Tigris has turned blood red at times.
It would have been nice if A-10 Warthogs were involved in this waterfoul shooting.
The terrorist group were transferring weapons and food between villages near the Tigris River.The operation has [apparently] crippled ISIS' attempts of using watercrafts to transport fighters and carry out attacks.
Iraqi Army' spokesman Major Amin Sheikhani said nine boats were sunk in an airstrike in the southeast of Nineveh on Sunday (September 25).
“Today, the international coalition aircraft bombarded nine ISIS boats south-west of Nineveh province, destroying the boats completely and killing their occupants,” Sheikhani said.
Barges, skiffs and motorised watercraft have been seen operating along the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, ferrying ISIS fighters and equipment.
The bombing has also targeted bridges used by the terrorists.
More than 100 ISIS boats have been blown up on the water, with 65 craft hit in September."
