Well, that is interesting. Knew a couple of P-3 pilots that were really looking forward to transition to P-8. This gives the P-8 more fangs!

CWO3 Dennis M. - ASROC was cool but I was not a big fan of the Nuke Depth charge, glad we never had to fire one of those in anger, would not have been a happy ending.

CWO3 Dennis M. - Great Idea slapping a Rocket on a Torpedo and putting an Nuclear Warhead on it. It did add another school to My Resume though Nuclear Launch Codes. Fortunately they ripped the SUBROC Launcher off the California when we arrived in San Dog.
