US reportedly deployed Sea-based X-band Radar off North Korea | IHS Jane's 360

The SBX radar was deployed at a time of high tensions in northeast Asia, although it is not clear how much it will have learned about North Korea's missile or rocket programmes.

It is also unclear whether the SBX was detected by North Korea, which would have undoubtedly used it for propaganda purposes.

China, equally, has not commented on the radar's deployment in waters close to its own.
