I have a suggestion, leave. They don't want us there. Osama Bin Laden is dead. We are treading mud. So maybe it is time to withdraw our forces from Afghanistan. Concentrate on fighting ISIS where they live. Stop nation building. We are not going to turn the middle east into the next hotbed of democracy and human rights. They are holding on to their tribal beliefs too tightly. We have a totally different mentality. We need a well defined, identifiable end game to our presence in Afghanistan, and we need to be moving to that end game. We cannot simply occupy territory forever, though 16 years is a helluva long time.
