I will probably be in the minority here, but in my opinion, this is just another example of how "sue happy" this country has become. These girls got free publicity, were on TV, and were "stars" in their minutes of fame. I'm sure they were the talk of the town for quite a while. The parents unfortunately, found this as an opportunity to get more money - greed, plain and simple. You know those girls weren't the ones upset about it. The article said that they didn't get to perform their 2nd show, but that they did get to sell merchandise. Perhaps the Trump campaign said they'd like them to perform three times, but after the first performance, if the campaign felt it wasn't necessary, they have every right to back out. If you hire a magician for perform at your nephew's birthday party on Friday and it's okay, but maybe not what you thought, you have every right to not hire him to do a show next week at your Niece's birthday party.. If there was travel involved, pay for the travel - but at the end of the day, you got national fame, a lot of recognition, payment for your show, and the opportunity to sell merchandise. Asking for $15,000 is ridiculous. Sounds like a scam to me.. Two words: Sue happy.
