IMO the reason there are so many appeals is because of the shoddy initial work on applicants claims. I also think they do this to see if the applicant has the intestinal fortitude to continue on with the bureaucratic process to fix the VA's laziness in the first place. Just my opinion and we all know that saying.

Ties to what I mentioned yesterday. VA is a conglomerate that can't function within itself. Sad. Money and power drive this.

Veterans commit Suicide because they don't receive their VA pensions/compensations in a timely enough fashion.
