That's no surprise. Not an easy field to work in, turnover is high. The pay generally sux. The big bucks are spent on the latest and greatest toys for the "real" docs to show off. Psychiatry continues to be the bastard stepchild of medicine. Society is pushing STEM not the Humanities.
