So apparently the FBI is investigating this now. Wonder if there was an actual bomb in the bag and when he will announce his allegiance to ISIS... How the heck did this guy get on base?

I am hearing conflicting things. Supposedly he left it by the gate but never came in. Either way, it's time to get my base pass to have a gun in my house (base housing).

I didn't think you can have a gun in base housing. I know when I lived in base housing we couldn't.

Yes you can. You need to get approval from base security and keep it in your house. you cannot drive around base. They give you a pass to take it on and off base when going to the range or if you are carrying off base. I didn't know this and I sold my gun before I moved on base. I found out after the fact.

Just was on that base last week, those guys check every ID card seriously.
