I never did like bull pup rifles, but strictly for the looks. I have never shot one and I don’t know how functional they actually are.

However this rifle actually looks kind of cool.

I've fired the Styer AUG. Bull Pups generally have terrible triggers, most only eject to one side but some of the newer ones eject forward or downwards so you can shoot them left or right handed, but other than that they give you a very compact weapon with no folding stock and a relatively long barrel (which gives you higher velocity) in a short package. For instance the Standard Styer AUG has a 21" barrel with a 31" over all length. Compare that to the M4 carbine which has a 14.74" barrel and a 33" overall length with the stock extended. So with the bullpup design you get a barrel length longer than the M16A2 in a package shorter than the M4.
