My cousin used to be the Honduran representative for the organization of American states 10 years ago . He personally shook the hand of Hugo Chavez and he noticed that he was protected by Cuban Secret Service. Recently, at least 2,000 Soviet soldiers were in Venezuela. I would suspect that it's probably at least 10,000 and maybe 10,000 Cuban military as well. Those two despotic countries Russia and Cuba are keeping that it's well as a float even though it is economically like the Weimar Republic was after the end of the Great War when the country was issuing $1000000 Deutsche Mark notes that were worthless. I'm surprised the Venezuelan Air Force still has Pilots able to fly these soviet-era aircraft.
