Damn... I haven't had the need to visit any VA medical facilities since my discharge, and I hope I never do. This is horrific.

SSG Jessica Bautista - so far, all the VA centers that are known for problems are in big cities. I avoided going to the Dallas VA for 2 reasons, bad part of town and always heard horror stories from that VA. Big Spring is 175 miles away but seems to be better ran.

My paps has been going to the VA for about 10 years now, and he no longer drives, so for the past 10 years I've been to several VA's and I as of yet have been unable to find a VA hospital where the staff was unable to tell some colorful suicide story or another.
If you are in Pa and you need one, the one in Altoona has been decent for my father.
