Why is receiving unemployment benefits disqualifying? If you lost your job due to Covid you would be eligible for unemployment benefits in almost all areas.

I checked with the Committee and that provision aligns with the requirements in the Post-9/11 GI Bill since it includes a generous living stipend. This new law includes the same stipend.
