There are those Vets against keeping VA Sec McDonald, with appropriate complaints against him. There are those Vets who are in favor of keeping. I was wondering how RP vets feel about him.
Veterans groups are pushing President-elect Donald Trump to keep current VA Secretary Bob McDonald on into the next administration, calling his transformation efforts critical to the future of the department.
One group that has voiced opposition for McDonald is Concerned Veterans for America, a conservative advocacy group with ties to the Koch brothers network of activist organizations.

I'd toss him overboard. We need to start with a clean slate, no hold overs in cabinet level positions. I don't want Trump to have to say later it was a mistake to keep him.

Cpl Jeff N.l I don't think Trump,can be pushed into doing anything. I was surprised when I saw that some Veterans want him to continue to be VA Sec.

He was here at the Dallas VA about 7 months ago that's why I have said what I did about him the Dallas VA is one of the worst VA in the country and they are still bad in how they treat veterans

Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs Bob McDonald is not the most important person to replace as Secretary in the current administration; however, he does need to be replaced because he is tied to the administration policies SGT (Join to see). Just because "veterans groups leaders" support him does not mean he should not be replaced. Many of veteran groups are lobbyists first and supporters of veterans health care a distant second.
I think new blood is needed - certainly within the first 100 days of the President Donald Trump presidency.
