To me this is like a bad cop...reflects bad on all the good ones. There are a lot of good orgs out there that provide great service and opportunities for wounded warriors. This one just caught steam because of the times we are in. They have done some good but because of the greed of some, they took dollars away from true heroes needing the assistance and it is definitely a black eye. I understand working for a non profit...just like any other job to take care of your family and make a living, but greed has no place in a non profit org that helps others. Fire them all and start over. Let actual wounded warriors with business degrees run it and see what happens.

Well said, Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth! We should also place wounded warriors with business degrees in key positions in the VA.

I run a charity nonprofit 501c3 since 2007. Everyone gets the same salary as the CEO. We have over 25 volunteers. All Volunteers, workers, and managers are UNPAID. We have other jobs, we do this part time. We just granted our 40th scholarship for national security professionals since 2007. We grant scholarships twice a year. http://www.LintCenter.org We can always use VOLs and you can always design your own job, and build that resume bullet. Lots of teamwork makes it work.

Keep up the great you and your nonprofit do. If I can ever be of assistance to you and your organization, please do not hesitate to contact me. We could learn from one another and others.

It will definately cause people to hesitate before giving and research. But, research is a GOOD thing. Dollars should go to the most efficient groups.
