This is good news, unlike when I lost a job in 2001 and I couldn't even get an interview.

I Should Have Been Your Resume Expert.
I DID Get A Great Education While In The USAF,
But My Formal Public Schooling Only Goes To The Mid 9th Grade.
That Said: I Got A Job At FMC As Industrial Purchasing Agent, In Lansing Michigan.
Which Required A 4 Year College Degree.....
So I Decided I Already Had It, PLUS It Was In Business Administration.
Pretty Good Choice, Huh?
A Masters In Fact...But My GPA Was Only 3.6 Because I Didn't Want To Overdue It.
2 Years Afterwords I Was Directly Promoted To Purchasing Manager Of The Tipton, Indiana Plant.. By Passing Assistant Manager.
Had I Done The Work On YOUR Resume, You'd Probably Be The CEO Of General Motors.
Ever Consider Running For President? I Need The Practice!!

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney - I had a good resume. I went to several job fairs. I was told that it was well written, but no one had openings. There were no electronics jobs within 50 miles. The company that I worked at had closed and over 200 people were out of work.
I then tried applying for other types of work.
The only place that even talked to me, wanted someone to build test fixtures, but they also wanted a background in medical products, along with electronics.
One place told me that the job would kill ne and told me to leave.
i ended up as 100% non service connected disabled a few years later.

Good news, but it should be less than that. Most of us veterans are worth our weight in gold. As most will excel or do outstanding work. Why, would you NOT hire a veteran???? Thats my option and it will still cost me a dollar for a cup of coffee. Salute.
