Not sure where they got "only 3 credits" from because I received 47 credits at Marshall University in the 70's. The credits covered physical education, math, electronics and engineering as well as some unclassified credits. This was a result of 39 weeks of ET "A" school, one year of Nuclear Power School and 39 weeks of ET "B" school.

As an infantryman, I received 18 hours for PhysEd, Military history, and Land Navigation, which was an offered class. I went to a State University.

PO1 Tony Holland I am with you on the "3 credits"--personally received 45 hours of credits in the same fields you mentioned.
