Love it! I was not in the 173d nor was I airborne qualified but admired the unit’s members and it’s history. The French photo-journalist Catherine Leroy made a jump with them in combat. She was so small that sandbags had to be strapped to her body to keep her from being blown off course. Have a photo of her in full battle dress somewhere in my stack of stuff.
