General Allen is a legend in 1st Infantry Division & 104th Infantry Division -- both of which he led in WW II. His son, Terry Allen, Jr., was KIA in Vietnam commanding 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry 1st ID. General Allen is famous for his comment, "Nothing in hell must stop the 1st Division."
