This is sad situation. Since it was daily wire, I also read it in a Calif newspaper. It said they wanted to provide permanent housing with the money, and they don't have enough now. My question to them would be with all the ones who are mentally ill, how do you get them to live in them, take care of themselves, and find something to do? I don't know enough about mental illness to answer that, but it looks like a sad situation for sure.

"Sad" doesn't begin to cover it. When the Cold War ended, many thought that CA was going to drop into the sea. The state was heavily invested in the defense industry and countless jobs were lost. But, that was then when the entrepreneurial spirit hadn't been beaten out of the people by a Leftist government. In two years we not only replaced all those lost jobs but created tens of thousands of new ones. Commercial entrepreneurs have been replaced by political entrepreneurs. Jerry Brown who opened the door to public sector and teachers unions created money laundering organizations to finance the Democratic Party and now here we are. Yes, these same things are happening all over the nation, but they began here, were perfected here, and spread like a cancer. Look around you and enjoy the view for now. Tomorrow, you will look just like us.

When all is said and done, the billions will go into the pockets of lawmaker friends and the homeless will remain homeless. JMHO
