Another right wing bs website making shit up. The wapo never said disagreeing with the verdict makes anyone a white nationalist. It said white nationalists are upset about the verdict. If the wapo said "veterans angry about cuts to defense budget" it doesnt mean they are saying that everone upset with cuts to the defense budget are veterans. The headline on this website is a complete lie designed to further devide the country.

CMSgt (Join to see) - fundamentalist christians disagree with homosexual marriage. Fundamentalist muslims disagree with homosexual marriage. Does a headline that says "Fundamentalist muslims angered by homosexual marriage" mean that fundamentalist christians are fundamentalist muslims? humm..

(Actually, there is no humm...no, it doesn't. ). But sites like the gateway pundit count on their readers not thinking that through and falling for their deceptive headline and then spreading the deception around as if it were a fact.

Gateway pundit simply called out WaPo for pushing a white nationalist narrative. I don't think anyone here is claiming WaPo thinks everyone who disagrees with the verdict is a white nationalist. The issue is why did they even go there? As the pundit article articulates, poor-taste in framing the issue. They both try to use sensationalism to sell and that is why they are both trash. I guess I should have marked this with a Humor tag so people would not take it so literally.

CMSgt (Join to see) If you read the Washington Post Article, it explains it:

“The memorial was created by white nationalists, according to local media reports. Tucked in one of the bouquets of flowers on the bench is a card from a group called the Bay Area Alt Right.

The group confirmed on Twitter that its members went to the spot where Steinle was killed and “paid tribute” to the young woman, hours after Garcia Zarate was acquitted of murder. Identity Evropa, a white separatist group, shared a video of its members lighting candles and writing messages on the white poster.”

Me too! The only thing I wish for the WAPO is bankruptcy.

It's probably worth reading the article.
