Victory for Veterans Foundation through the Warriors for Life (WFL) Virtual Group Support Community Services program is proud to introduce our newest facilitator for Monday evenings, Air Force Veteran SSgt Christina Herr
Monday Night’s Topic: “Balancing Our Survival Instincts (Negativity Bias, Neuroplasticity, Gratitude, & Balancing Your Thinking)”
Christina Herr is an Air Force veteran. She specializes in process and performance improvement-most notably as a resilience and suicide prevention advocate. At Hurlburt Field, she was a key member of the team that built the foundation for the Preservation of the Force & Family (POTFF) and Comprehensive Airman Fitness (CAF) programs. Most recently, she relocated to San Antonio in search of personal and professional growth.
Christina meets others where they are, empowering them to live their best lives, using real talk and scientifically proven methods. She has a masters degree in Human Performance Technology and is a certified Master Resilience and safeTALK trainer. For the last six years she has immersed herself in learning about suicide prevention and resiliency through mentorship, courses, and books. Since January, Christina has begun learning about military transition and job-seeking, so she can further help her fellow veterans and their families.

I've seen the same attitude toward what's going on in Afganistan as what happened with Vietnam. A few years ago I saw a man wearing an anti war shirt about Afganistan And I felt like punching him out, but didn't.

I had a friend I graduated high school with who served in Vietnam who had the same thing happen to him, but it was a female. She asked him how many babies he killed. He never told me hw he responded. Had it been me I might have gone postal.

The soldiers who fought in Vietnam & AFG Are/Were Everyone HEROES ! It was NOT their fault that the Wars were political about which MANY MANY LIES were told by the presidents who INSTIGATED them, The presidents who LIED Are the REAL Criminals while the Soldiers Are the REAL HEROES !!!
