Thanks for reminding us about Operation Linebacker I which was derisively labeled the Christmas Bombing operation by NVA and domestic leftists in this nation SP5 Mark Kuzinski
Operation Linebacker was the fulfillment of a statement to the NVA negotiators that if they walked out of the negotiations in Paris they would be bombed. The operation continued until 1/13/1973 and the NVA returned to the peace negotiations which were signed on 1/27/1973.
Unfortunately the NVA did not honor the terms of the agreement when we excited Vietnam in 1975.
