This is why, among many other reasons, you wouldn't catch me dead on one of these cattle ships...and that's from a life-long Sailor. Much better are the smaller, boutique cruise lines.

I had to provide some DC assistance to one at sea, I couldn't believe how many people were on there! I don't even know how you could relax with people 4 inches on all sides of you. My cousin tries every year to get me to go on one, and every year I turn him down.
