"We found out who is ESSENTIAL, its the people who clean the rooms in hospitals, who cook the food, sterilize the instruments, can't thank them enough, I can't do my job without them doing their jobs, they are just as important as I am in the hospital."
That's Dr Phil Roe, Member of Congress, representing the 1st District of Tennessee, Ranking Member House Veterans Affairs, veteran of the US Army Medical Corps, Korean War veteran describing the essential role of hospital staff so that doctors and nurses can do their jobs. 12. Attracting Medical Staff to VA: During Covid19 VA has hired 10,000 new staff as other medical facilities have furloughed, VA has created 1.500 residents slots in primary care and mental health.
13. Telehealth Increase during Covid19: Doctors very happy with this, someone a Dr. knows well doesn't need to see in person, can be spoken with on phone or screen, unless they are very sick. ICUs are using video health to provide access to out of town doctors.

14. Preventing Veterans Suicide: "Solved Locally, remedy suggested for reducing the deaths of 20 former military members per day continues despite $9 billion spent in recent years by Federal government.
